Simulated phishing attacks

Are your employees resilient to phishing?

"Employees clicking on the wrong link, it happened quickly.... Our people have to stay alert and critical."

Phishing attacks are becoming increasingly clever where they try to trap people by getting them to click on fake emails or websites.
If one of your employees falls for this, hackers can steal important information, such as passwords or bank details. This can lead to major problems, such as losing money or important data going out on the street.

So don't let your employees fall prey to phishing. Test their resilience with simulated phishing attacks and teach them to recognize real threats quickly and report them correctly.

Book an introduction
Why a phishing simulation, or the dangers of being unprepared

If you are not properly prepared for phishing, one click on a fake e-mail can cause major problems. Employees can accidentally reveal confidential information such as passwords or customer details.

This happens more often than you think because phishing emails often look very real. When something like this happens, you can lose not only money, but also the trust of your customers and your team.

They need to be assured that their data is safe, and that trust is hard to regain once it is damaged.

Did you know that about 90% of successful cyber attacks start with a phishing email?

Phishing is one of the most common cyber threats facing businesses worldwide. Belgian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are also increasingly falling prey.

Phishing attacks are more sophisticated than ever before and can have disastrous consequences for your company, just think of the image damage and financial hangover it can cause. Therefore, it is hugely important that your team knows how to recognize and prevent phishing (emails).

Prevention is still better than cure

By setting up a hyper-realistic phishing simulation and sending it to your colleagues, you provide a baseline measurement of your company's resilience to phishing.

In addition, this simulation is also a moment of awareness for your employees, creating more knowledge and awareness of phishing.

After all, a man forewarned is worth two. So the saying goes, after all.

How does a phishing simulation from Cyberplan work?

We mimic a phishing attack as realistically as possible.
1 icon
Your employees will receive a secure phishing email in their inbox with a link or request to provide contact information.
2 icon
When a link is clicked or data is entered, they are directed to a page with tips and advice on how to spot phishing.

Frequently asked questions about our phishing tests

What is a phishing simulation?

A phishing simulation is a test to see if employees are able to recognize phishing emails. It involves sending fake phishing emails that resemble real ones, such as an email from Microsoft, to gauge your team's knowledge level.

These simulations are difficult to distinguish from real emails and are sent periodically. They provide insight into how employees handle suspicious emails and help improve a company's information security.

It can also help with obtaining certifications such as BIO, ISAE, DigiD, or ISO27001.

What happens when you are phished?

While sending a phishing simulation, it often happens that one employee clicks on an email and then also logs in with his credentials. This data is of course not stored, the platform does not store the fields that can be filled in. So should you have stepped into a phishing simulation no worries no one has your login credentials.

question mark icon

I have been phished by a phishing simulation does this have consequences?

Fortunately, it was a simulation and not a real phishing email, because then it would certainly have had consequences. In this case your click and the fact that you were phished is included in the statistics.

These statistics are on an organizational and departmental level, not on a personal level. Perhaps it would be wise to take our awareness trainings (again), this will increase your chances of avoiding this situation in the future.

It was a limited investment to know where the holes are and what we can do about it to fix it. Better to take preventive action to avoid possible misery than to get the bill afterwards.
